The reviewer commented that Alton Price is a cross between “Ray Donovan” and real life fixer Eddie Mannix.  As noted in my previous comments on my first novel, “Vanquish of the Dragon Shroud”, Eddie Mannix was the original inspiration for the more contemporary character of Alton Price.  I’ve heard the Ray Donovan comparison before, although I was unaware of that character when I conceived Alton Price as the best “fixer” in Hollywood.  Since becoming familiar with the character in the “Ray Donovan” series, I can see the comparison with him and Eddie Mannix.  As a former CIA agent with a clouded past, Alton Price has many secrets that I will reveal in more detail in future novels.  His motivation is often not what it appears to be.  Thanks to Pacific Book Reviewer Philip Zozzaro for a thorough review.
